My Yoga journey began around 8 years ago when my mum introduced me to Hatha Yoga. From my first class I felt an awareness that I had never felt before. An awareness of my body, my mind, my breath and an awareness of life. I felt an overwhelming sense of calm and clarity from all the business of the world. This is what drew me to my mat.
While spending time in India my practice deepened as I undertook an intensive Hatha Yoga training. This was transformational and from this moment I had a desire to go deeper into the practice of Yoga and to one day share my love with others by becoming a teacher.
While travelling in Australia I met my inspirational teacher Sudevi Sundari. Through her guidance and support I was able to learn more about the ancient practice of Yoga.
Now back in London I have developed a daily practice and regularly attend various classes from Jivamukti and vinyasa to Hatha and gentle restorative classes.
Having recently undertaken my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with the wonderful Gerry Rixen and Mario Sarigu, I now feel ready to embark on my journey as a Yoga teacher.
My training is in Hatha Yoga and I teach Hatha Flow, a practice that develops strength and flexibility, lifting and lengthening the mind and body with an emphasis on correct alignment.
I am also a Steiner kindergarten teacher and can also offer children's Yoga to small groups or individual sessions.
I am based in North London (Stoke Newington) and can offer classes, cover, private one to one sessions, and children's Yoga. I am fully registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals and am an associate level 1.
